The best time to think about the emotional impact your content has on your audience is in pre production. The best way to start that conversation is with the end in mind.
I work with you from pre production to post to best understand the scope of your project. Having the right framework of preserving creative intent & image integrity is paramount and building a workflow around that will serve all involved. What’s the schedule? Who all is involved? Where will viewers watch your content and what deliverables do you have? Are there VFX involved? Understanding these questions and more keep workflows simple and consistent, saving you time, money, and energy.
GRADE.
When we’ve worked that out I want to understand the emotional impact you want for your audience. Should they feel happy or sorrowful? Angry or motivated? Thoughtful or calm? And then, most ideally, shoot screening tests. Let’s develop a look LUT based on the mood for use on set and again in the grade. grading any camera tests as needed.
When all is shot we’ll collaborate on the color grade before creating any final deliverables.
DELIVER.
